Privacy
Hunch has no account and no server of its own holding your work. This page lists everything that leaves your browser.
Stays with you
- Your boards, their text and everything inside them: in this browser's storage (IndexedDB), and in the files you save.
- What you type in Build with AI, the answers to its questions and the prompt it makes: it is copied to your clipboard or downloaded, never sent anywhere.
- A share link: the board is packed into the link itself. Whoever you send it to opens it in their browser.
- The feedback you write: it is shown to you, copied, and sent only if you press Send, to the address the site shows.
Leaves your browser
- Mapping a GitHub repository
- Your browser reads the repository from GitHub (api.github.com and raw.githubusercontent.com). A token for a private repository goes only to GitHub, and only for that read.
- Skills for the AI
- Searching a skills repository, or adding a skill, reads its SKILL.md from GitHub or from the link you paste.
- Loading the site
- Like any website, the host that serves these pages sees the request (your IP address and browser). Hunch adds no analytics, no cookies and no trackers.
Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes the boards it holds. Back them up first from the dashboard (Back up all boards), or keep them as .hunch files next to your code.
